TIDALWAVE’s new track, “RUN AWAY“, is an absolute banger! With a groovy rhythm and polished production, head nodding from the beginning, on an intimate level that is almost cinematic. The melodies are memorable, but complex and dynamic, making this a tune you’ll be humming long after your first listen.
Let’s talk about the production! It sounds clearly modern/produced but has a warm feel which is just so awesome. The instruments and vocals are perfectly balanced, none of them overpowering one another. The hard-hitting beats in this song produce a stunning atmosphere that will having you grooving away to it. You really get the sense that a tremendous amount of effort was put into designing a musical journey that would align with the emotional heaviness of the lyrics.
The lyrics are very relatable and say what a lot of people would like to say! They encapsulate that universal sensation of needing to run away – be it from a situation, a feeling, or even just from ourselves. It’s a feeling many of us can relate to. Openness of the singer gives a personal touch and even though the message is little much, it doesn’t make you stop moving with the song. RUN AWAY really does feel as if it was written for you, and that is what makes it so special!
